Unexpected EC action

Post by actionreplay » Sunday 13 December 2015, 11:42

Hello,
Nice snowboarding video with sort of one second unexpected extreme carving action at 1:28 here :

Of course, it is more gravitation force rather than centrifuge force, but I found it very impressive and could give some ideas to EC riders in half-pipes...

Super cool video. Yes, carving is becoming trendy in the soft boots community. :bravo: :D This is the general feeling we get when watching some recent films showing soft boots riders.

In a recent article in Switzerland ("Le Temps", newspaper in French), we could read this (roughly translated):
We want to return to the pleasure of gliding, remove this athletic and competitive side that has plagued snowboarding over the past decade. The vast majority of riders is riding the pistes today, some powder, and makes few jumps. They do not make jumps of 25 meters or rock bars.
This is exactly what we are saying here since 12 years! ;-) I think that people are now finally realizing that snowboarding is originally about riding the snow and making beautiful turns. Jumps are great for sure. But riding and carving with style is great too. :D Yes, carving is trendy! We humbly hope we contributed to this. 8)
