Boardercross - Extremecarver or Dual?
I wonder, which Swoard would be better for boardercross (BX) - Extremecarver or Dual?
What we know about Extremecarver Gen3
How much harder should be the Extremecarver flex for BX compared to EC?

Re: Boardercross - Extremecarver or Dual?
I assume that square tail of Swoard makes it not allowed in BX

Re: Boardercross - Extremecarver or Dual?
I remember that our rider Antoine Pochon did rounded the corners of his Extremecarver with a saw for his participation in BX European Cup.
The DUAL 158 has a lot of success among the girls in BX. The Italian team is using it and winning.
My opinion is that the DUAL should be stiffer for men in BX. Probably a model made specifically for BX will appear.

Yes, and one coach of the team told us they made sliding test to compare the Dual to other well known BX boards ... the Dual was always firstfivat wrote:The Italian team is using it and winning.

Boardercross - Extremecarver or Dual?
Visiting with Patrice has taught me that it is very expensive to develop and build a new board; guessing if there is a big enough market for a new model is also a very risky business.
That said, I have always thought that a detuned Extremecarver, for BX and all mountain carving, would be a very interesting board to try; with a slightly bigger nose, rounded tail, smaller sidecut, etc.
At the same time it would be very cool to try a Dual with a turned down tail and a slightly bigger sidecut.
A stiffer Dual for BX would be very cool to try as well! The possibilities never end!
Ultimately I like the Dual and Extremecarver as they are, so why mess with them I guess.

If on a par with the Italian team boardercross ...
Then we can expect that soon we will see SWOARD in the Olympics podium

So, not only the Italian team uses Dual for boardercross? The Swiss boardcrossers do, too? Men or women?valerio65 wrote:2 Swoard,Suisse boardercros championship 2010
