Closed ski resorts due to the coronavirus

Our friend Daniel in China is telling us that all the ski resorts have been closed there!

This is terrible! Worse than a winter without snow, because you can't enjoy the white slopes...

All competitions have been cancelled of course.

Hopefully this doesn't last...

Yes, all ski resorts are temporarily closed due to the coronavirus. Everyone in China are fighting with the coronavirus who should stay in home(2 weeks) in order to avoid infection. This time the coronavirus are terrible, it's easy to infect. So the Chinese are unitive and behave well, and we will win in the end. Maybe we will miss this season, but we will be back soon~

Hello everybody,

At the moment, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is not affecting Aosta area, along to local info.
We will be present in Pila as planned, except if there will be strong restrictions.

Of course we will keep you informed.

Good sportsmen should not be afraid! Good health, no problem. And we could enjoy empty slopes!

The schools and universities are closed. The events are not allowed.

Thus officially the "SDT Pila" is cancelled. There won't be any stand.

Some of us will come for riding privately.
We can meet on the slopes and enjoy great conditions (it's snowing a lot right now).

Regarding the dinner on Saturday evening, it can be made privately.

LAST NEWS! ALL THE RESORTS IN VALLE D'AOSTA (ITALY) WILL BE CLOSED!

The situation has evolved badly.

From Monday 9th March, all the resorts in Valle d'Aosta will be closed!
So it won't be possible to meet, publicly or privately. Everything is cancelled.

We are so sorry for our Italian friends. We were looking so much to seeing you all, like every year.
And this is economically a disaster for all the the valley, the resorts, the hotels, etc.

From Monday March 16, all the ski resorts will be closed in Tirol, Austria!
Norway is closing too.

Probably France will follow soon. And Switzerland... The situation is changing every day.

The Alps are progressively closing. This is dramatic.
